James Edward "Jim" Burrows is an American director who directed all 185 episodes and one special of Will & Grace.
Biography
Burrows has admitted that he loved the script for Will & Grace for being a high-concept show, having directed television before with more mundane concepts. During the promotion of the ninth season in 2017, he described the show as a "fairy tale, literally and figuratively" because of the four main characters who are "a little bit of a fantasy."
Will & Grace
All members of the main cast has expressed holding Burrows in high regard, with Debra Messing describing him as a "master" and a "musician", listening more to the musicality of the comedy rather than watching it.[1]
